Some day my granddaughter may put this fancy little stepping stone that we just created in her own garden and remember the day we made it in the shed beside the house on a warm and beautiful Saturday morning. Mom gave the materials to us (from Auntie Diana), Grandpa helped mix and pour, Daddy Gabe helped make the hand print, and Grandma helped decorate with colored glass, letters and numbers. Perhaps she'll pass it on to her own daughter some day her mother and I wondered? How old would I be when that happened, I thought as I drove away and headed home...that could be 40 years from now? I'd be 94. I hope at that age I'm still stepping (and hopefully still dancing) on all kinds of stones in my path!
